MINUTES

May 18, 2010

• Executive Board Members in attendance were Director Katie Cade, President Mary Gregory, Vice President Stacy Alexander, Treasurer Janice Kuhl, Secretary Aileen Ripkowski, and Public Relations Michele Standerfer.
• April Minutes were approved by Ann Streater
• Treasurer Report was approved by Carol Backhus
• Introduced new E-Board members listed above
• Social Committee representative Alyssa Backhus spoke to the board about the role of So. Co., first practices as a new team, first squad parties, banquet, and the theme for this year: “If the Shoe Fits, Wear It” and “Dance with your Sole.”
• Advised members that they will receive statements at each Booster Club meeting and families should review statements
• Advised members as to upcoming expenses: Sponsor money ($400 per officer, $300 per line member, and $200 per manager) due by August 2^nd, Home Camp fee of $50.00 due July 26^th, and balance to Dance Fantastic due June 1
• Members may mail sponsor money to Janice Kuhl over the summer to 9645 West Shore Drive Willis, Texas 77318
• Members were advised to contact Mrs. Cade with any Drill Team questions and  contact E-board members with Booster Club questions
• Members reviewed the directory to make any changes and were advised that e-mail is the main form of communication
• www.willissweethearts.comis available to view the calendar and pictures
• Pick up Cookie Dough Fundraiser on Tuesday, May 25 after practice
• Booster Club voted and all agreed upon Tuesdays for our monthly meetings – Next Booster Club meeting will be in August TBA
• Mary passed around a volunteer list to start committee chairs for events throughout the year – thank you to all who signed up!
• Cookbook information was sent home with members, and girls will receive more this week.  Each Sweetheart is to supply 10-15 receipes by JUNE 18^THeither by e-mail, mail, or hand delivered to Mary Gregory or Stacy Alexander
• Meeting was adjourned and people stayed to talk and get to know each other.
