Booster Club Minutes

August 17, 2010

Meeting was called to order at 6:08 pm and held at Willis High School.  Executive Board Members present were Mary Gregory, Janice Kuhl, Michele Standefer, Aileen Ripkowski, Stacy Alexander, and Directors Mrs. Cade and Mrs. Lebow were both present.

©Carol Backhus approved last month’s minutes.

©Treasurer’s report for the summer was approved by Pam Jones. Mrs. Kuhl handed out statements… please look over them each month and ask questions about your daughter’s account.

©SoCo President Amanda Streater talked about what the team has been doing this summer. HTE camp was successful, the team is working on Meet the Kats dance, and invitations will go out this week, for the Big Sis-Little Sis pool party on Friday, the 20^th.

©Reminders about keeping questions about girls and dancing directed to Mrs. Cade and fundraisers and Booster Club information to the Booster Club.

©Reviewed calling Mrs. Cade as well as WHS when a Sweetheart is ill. By Laws will be available at the next Booster Club meeting, but you may ask at any time to see them.

©If parents do not have a “Booster Club” t-shirt, contact Mary Gregory and order one before the Hosted Show in February-every worker will need one. Other shirts for Football and Contest season will be available as well.

©Stacy presented a handout about the fundraiser buyouts for the year. A full year buyout of 700.00 or individual buyouts per fundraiser for approximately 150.00-200.00 were discussed.

©Upcoming fall fundraisers are the raffle ticket sales and pie sales.  PLEASE TRY TO FIND A DONATION FOR OUR RAFFLE! More information will be announced at the next meeting.

©Look for emails about signing up for snacks for football games, working the spirit table, hauling props to and from games, and working concession stands.

©COOKBOOKS are in and selling these will help your individual Sweetheart work on raising money for New York City this year!

©Remember if you take pictures of the Sweethearts to send pictures for the website to jmj3home@cebridge.netor provide a disc with pictures.

©We had 21 Sweethearts represented at this board meeting… thank you for coming and please share information with those who could not attend tonight.

©Meeting was adjourned and Mrs. Gregory issued cookbooks to some in attendance.
