Booster Club Minutes
September 19, 2006
Meeting was called to order at 6:06 pm and held in the Health Room, Willis High School.
Executive Board Members present were Billie Gorrell, Vicki Sutton, Rhonda Diggs and Dawn Havran. Director Katie Jackson and SoCo Officer Melissa Diggs were also present.

Report on Concession stand sells. We made $2983.00 profit. Thank you Parents for your help!
©Rhonda Diggs, Secretary, is updating the Sweethearts Web site. Needs pictures of girls from parents. Reminded parents to notify of any email or phone number changes as soon as possible. Reminded parents of Snack, Hauling and Spirit table volunteers still needed. Passed out sign up sheet.
©Vicki Sutton review Spirit table sales, 1st game $547.00. 2nd game $630.00. Coca Cola fundraiser $5410.00. Raffle fundraiser starting October 16th. Deadline will be October 30th. Drawing will be November 3rd. Looking for items to use in the raffle. Chairpersons are Kim Schmidt and Mary Simpson. Golf Tournament will start October 7th. Chairperson Mike Nelson gave details and passed out forms.
©Thank You notes available. Sponsor Plaques are being ordered. Will be sent home with girls to be delivered. Certificates will be mailed.
©Future Sweetheart Clinic is September 21 and Performance is September 22. Clinic is open to anyone between Pre-K and 8th Grade. Cost is $25.00, includes pre-game performance and sideline performance, T-Shirt, snack and drink. Future Sweethearts will sit with a Sweetheart for the 1st Quarter of the game. We have sponsors for the T-Shirts. We need parents for signing girls In & Out. To take pictures, cost $4.00.

©Ms Jackson discussed the upcoming routine Thriller. Girls will make their own costume by squads. Purple-Dresses, Gold-Capri’s, Silver-Pants, White-Skirts. Will perform in October for pep rally and for contest season.
©North Houston Winter Dance Festival, Home Hosted Contest January 27, 2007. This is a Mandatory workday for all Sweetheart Parents. Please mark your calendars and think about where you would like to help.
©Billie Gorrell discussed Booster Club Protocol. Any concerns regarding Booster Club issues should be addressed to the Executive Board. Any issues regarding the sweetheart girls should be addressed to Ms. Jackson.
