Booster Club Minutes
January 23, 2007
Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm and held in the Drama Room, Willis High School.
Executive Board Members present were Billie Gorrell, Rhonda Diggs, Vicki Sutton, Dawn Havran and Cathy Glasner. Director Katie Jackson was also present.
©Katie Jackson – Welcomed parents. Discussed the sweethearts are excited and working hard for contest season. Any questions are concerns email Ms. Jackson.

©Vicki Sutton – Pie sales profit was $4643.05. Pies sold over 20 were credited to the sweethearts accounts.
©Cathy Glasner – Has Thank You notes available for anyone we need to thank.
©Billie Gorrell discussed Sweetheart and Booster Club Protocol. Any issues with your daughters must be addressed with Ms. Jackson. Booster Club issues you may contact any Booster Club Board Executive.
©North Houston Winter Dance Festival, Home Hosted Contest January 27, 2007.
This is a Mandatory workday for all Sweetheart Parents. Offered Crew Shirts to parents $6.00. Everyone must wear a crew shirt during the contest. Work schedules were passed out and explained to parents. Arrive at contest at 7:am. Rhonda Diggs and Billie Gorrell, Co-Chairpersons.
Silent Auction – we still need donations. Bring them to Vicki Sutton up to contest date.
Discussed Parking Lot issues during the contest.
Lunch & refreshment will be provided for the parents at contest during their breaks.
Got volunteers to provide coolers, crock pots & tables.
Kathy Johnson Moore volunteered to do menus for contest, 500 copies of flyers and Sponsor poster.
We still need Corporate Sponsors. Contact Billie Gorrell if you know someone that can help. See Rhonda Diggs for sponsor letters.
©New York trip will be March 8-11. If you need travel information contact Billie Gorrell. Don’t forget to contact Billie if you plan to attend the trip. We will keep a list of parents incase we need to contact them.
Girls will travel VIA charter bus to Bush Intercontinental. We will need parents to pick up girls from the airport when they return. More details later.

©Contest season.
· Stage- We will need 6 Trucks & Trailers for the stage. It takes about 25 people to get the stage together in the 2 minute requirement. We need Moms, Dads, Friends to get this together. Plan on helping. We will have a practice run in February.
· We will also need help with hauling other contest equipment.
