Booster Club Minutes
March 20, 2007
Meeting was called to order at 6:06 pm and held in the Drama Room, Willis High School.
Executive Board Members present were Billie Gorrell, Rhonda Diggs, Vicki Sutton, Dawn Havran and Cathy Glasner. Director Katie Jackson was also present.

©Review Treasurers Report. Approved by Kareece Goetzman. Statements were passed out. Statements must be paid in full. If any questions contact Dawn Havran.
©Cathy Glasner – Has Thank You notes available for anyone we need to thank. A Thank you note and a group picture will be sent to Klein Oak for transporting our props home from New York and helping with props during contest.

©Moody Gardens contest March 31.
· Stage haulers – Dennis Gorrell, Michael Glasner, Mark Belinowski, Scott Havran and David Heinlein.
· Prop haulers – Pat Nelson and Billie Gorrell.
· Passed out sign up sheets for stage prop parents.
· Permission slips must be send to Ms Jackson before Wed, March 28th if you are planning on taking your daughter home from Moody Gardens contest. You must clearly state all details (your name, daughters name, that you intend on taking your daughter home from contest, date and sign)
©Taks Breakfast- April 20th. 20 Parent volunteers are needed to cook food. 5 parent volunteers are needed to serve food from 7:30 am to 11:00 am. See Billie Gorrell for more details.
©Spring show ads sales begin March 20th and end April 16th.All Sweethearts are required to sell $100.00. Turn in all sales to Rhonda Diggs. 1st and 2nd place top sellers will receive gift cards. All profit goes to Senior Scholarships.
©End of year Video- It is time to turn in any pictures you have taking during the 06-07 year that you would like to see on the video. We will be hiring a studio to prepare the video. We need committee volunteers to sort through pictures. If you want your photos or disk returned to you, label them with your name.

©Car Wash is Saturday March 24th at True Value Hardware.
· We need 4 parent volunteers to supervisor at car wash! Contact E-Board.
· We will sell cokes, waters and candy.
· 10:00-12:30 White and Gold Squads
· 12:30-3:00 Silver and Purple Squads
©E-board Nominations forms were passed out for 07-08. You may nominate someone or yourself for more than one position. Nominees will be contacted to accept nominations.

ARTICLE II - OBJECTIVES OF THIS CLUB
1. Promote interest in the Drill Team in their maintenance, and to cooperate with the Board of Education and the Superintendent of Willis Independent School District.
2. Assist the Director of the Drill Team.
3. Aid in financing of the Drill Team Activities.
4. Promote scholarship, dance achievement, and sustain high moral standards among Drill Team Members.
5. The activities of the club shall not conflict with the policies of the Willis Independent School District and shall be sanctioned by the school authorities.
6. It shall be the purpose and intent of all meetings, except specialty meetings called for business purposes, to carry out the ideals, intent and the purposes of the above mentioned Articles.
